Prior to Cayan, Akram progressed in 17 years with GE through various assignments and management roles with the Energy business locally and regionally after which he held the position of President and National
Executive for GE Corporate for the gulf region leading GE’s multi billion $US businesses, relations and investments. Following his departure from GE, he served as Senior Advisor until 2011

Abdullah Taibah
Abdullah J. Taibah has over 25 years of experience in strategic and operation management through various posts in the region. He is currently the CEO of Arabian Qudra, an ACWA Holding company focused on delivering innovative power solutions.
Prior, Abdullah worked for GE from 1993 to 2007 where he was the Middle East General Manager and Region Executive for GE Energy and was responsible for leading its operations
in the region, including sales strategy, orders, growth plans and execution across the entire GE Energy portfolio.

Thomas F. Stein
Thomas has eighteen years of management consulting, business development and industry experience across oil and gas, chemicals and heavy manufacturing sectors. Recently Thomas was Managing Director for Perma-Pipe Saudi Arabia where he established a Greenfield manufacturing facility for this Nasdaq listed American manufacturing firm and held responsibility for the operations and the P&L.
Thomas has eighteen years of management consulting, business development and industry experience across oil and gas, chemicals and heavy manufacturing sectors. Prior to consulting, Thomas held engineering and internal consulting positions in Odessa and Houston, Texas with Holloman Corporation and Halliburton Company. Thomas has an undergraduate degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso and an MBA from Rice University. He is an author and contributor to numerous articles and white papers on topics that include competitiveness, strategy and governance. Thomas holds Board positions with a number of Cayan investments, including Perma-Pipe Middle East, Mueller Middle East and Energy Services Company. Thomas resides in the Middle East with his wife and three children.

Ahmed started his career in 1995 as an Aircraft
Engineer in BAE Systems working out of the
United Kingdom before becoming an Aircraft
Structure Senior Engineer two years later.
AAhmed joined Abunayyan Group in Jan 2005 as
a General Manager of Saudi French Co. and also
as a General Manager of Electronic & Electrical
Industries Corp.
He is currently holds the position of Chief
Operating Officer (COO) of Arabian Qudra, and is
a board member of both Electronic & Electrical
Industries Corp. and Chromalloy Arabia.
